A heat exchanger routes the hydraulic oil through narrow passages with large surface areas that transfer heat from the hydraulic oil to a fluid (usually water or air) that carries heat away.

Hydraulic Seal:

A hydraulic seal is a relatively soft, non-metallic ring, captured in a groove or fixed in a combination of rings, forming a seal assembly, to block or separate fluid in reciprocating motion applications. Hydraulic seals are vital in machinery.

Hydraulic Accumulator:

A hydraulic accumulator is a pressure storage reservoir in which an incompressible hydraulic fluid is held under pressure that is applied by an external source (external source can be an engine, a spring, a raised weight, or a compressed gas) of mechanical energy.
